New Beginnings Fast Approaching

Today, as I walked into school, the first thing my teacher said to me was, "Less than two weeks." He explained that he was talking about my sister's wedding. I can't believe it's that close! Then in opening, my principal remarked that there are only eighteen days of school left. It seems impossible that in eighteen days I will be completely finished with high school. I also just started a Psychology class and am already on the second week. It amazes me how fast time flies sometimes. Soon I'll be a graduate, I'll be closer to having my Associates completed, my sister will be married and starting a new life with her husband, and I'll be trying to figure out what the next step in my life is. For years, I've been eagerly awaiting the day when I'd be done with high school. Now that it's almost here, I'm realizing how unprepared I am to be starting this stage of my life. But I know God will be with me every step of the way. I may be unsure of what those steps are, but when the time comes, I trust that God will lead me. I recently found this quote: "Sometimes the smallest step in the right direction ends up being the biggest step of your life. Tip toe if you must, but take the step." (quote by Naeem Callaway). I think that is very good advice. Sometimes you just have to step out and see where God takes you. The next step you take could completely change your life. :)
