Changes

Hey, y'all! So some of you may know that my life has been changing quite a bit lately. Well, "quite a bit" for me at least since I hate change. ;) I've started a new job. Tomorrow is my official last day at my current job. I'm really going to miss my coworkers and managers, but I'll still see them when I go shopping. :) This new job...I don't love it. I'm not excited about it. I haven't been excited (I've been working both jobs for a couple of weeks now). But I'm trusting that, if this is where God wants me, He'll help me. I was really struggling last night and, since I hadn't had the time yesterday morning to do my devotions, I decided to read my Bible at 9:30 at night. I only read one chapter, but in it I found encouragement. 1 Samuel 18:14 -- "David continued to succeed in everything he did, for the Lord was with him." Even though everything that's changing stresses me out, I'm trusting that God is with me and He will help me to succeed.

Anywho! Moving on. I have new plans for this blog... Rather than scrounging for snippets to post every week, I want this to be more informative for the writers out there. I'm no expert, but I believe I have some advice to give, and at the very least this should be fun for me. ;) I'll still post snippets at times, but I want to do more with this blog. This is a "coming soon" announcement I guess. So stay tuned, all you writers!
